Lucy is a solicitor with past experience in wills & probate and family law. Whilst living in London she volunteered with the National Centre for Domestic Violence where she regularly assisted victims of violence to obtain injunctions against perpetrators at court.  She is passionate about human rights and has been involved in various campaigns which promote global equality. After qualifying Lucy joined the third sector and started working at Race Equality First where she currently manages the Discrimination Casework Service. Lucy regularly provides advice and advocates on behalf of predominantly BME victims of racial discrimination at employment tribunal. She also provides regular advice and support to the LGBT community on discrimination and hate crime issues. Lucy is a current third sector member of the Crown Prosecution Service Hate Crime scrutiny panel.

Lucy volunteers at Asylum Justice’s Monday night drop in and hopes to gain increasing knowledge and experience in Immigration law.
