Nasif Ahmed studied law at the University of Khartoum (1992 -1995) and the University of Glamorgan (2010 – 2013), and was awarded LLM in Human Rights Law by Cardiff University 2016. He worked as a lawyer (Advocate) in Sudan from 1997 to 2007. He has extensive volunteering experience; volunteering at George Thomas Hospice in Cardiff (2011 to 2012), volunteer Gateway Assessor & trainee Generalist Adviser at Citizen Advice Bureau (CAB) in Pontypridd & Cardiff (2012- 2014). Nasif joined Asylum Justice as a volunteer interpreter (Arabic) in September 2015. Nasif has also authored a book titled ‘Torture in Sudan 1989-2016’.
