Please note that there will NOT be drop-in sessions on Monday 21st or Monday 28th December 2015 and Monday 4th January 2016.After the Monday 14th December session, drop-ins will, therefore, re-commence as usual on Monday 11th January 2016.

Asylum Justice temporarily unable to accept new clients

Because of unprecedented demand for our services, Asylum Justice is not able accept any new clients until at least 31st January 2016. The implication of this decision is that people arriving at our weekly drop-in clinics may be given one-off advice, an appeal lodged or a referral made on the night, but no ongoing cases will be taken until the current workload decreases.

Two Trustees of Asylum Justice - Emma Borland and Lucy Goodridge - will be running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October to raise awareness and much-needed funds. The Board of Trustees and Legal Director, Ruth Brown want to ensure future sustainability of current services which include free legal advice, representation and support to asylum seekers in Wales. On 5th June 2014 Cardiff became the seventh UK city to officially be recognised as a ‘City of Sanctuary’.
